Get to Know Us
At KTR Services (WBR) and Aquabotics, we bring together over 100 years of combined industry experience in water bore maintenance, redevelopment, and asset management across a wide range of industries throughout Western Australia.
With extensive experience spanning mining, construction, water infrastructure, and environmental management, our team understands the complex challenges that lead to underperforming or failed bores — from decreased water flow to rising operational costs. These issues often result in increased power consumption, reduced equipment lifespan, higher treatment costs, and the deterioration of underground infrastructure.
Our integrated approach offers a comprehensive, one-stop solution for:
-
Bore maintenance
-
Sterilisation
-
Asset recovery
-
Condition reporting
-
Asset management recommendations
-
Bore decommissioning at end of life

Exclusive Services
At KTR Services, we specialise in maintaining and restoring water bores throughout Western Australia. Whether you’re dealing with reduced flow, contamination, or ageing infrastructure — we’ve got the tools and expertise to get your bore working like new.
1
Bore Cleaning & Maintenance
Clear out blockages and improve water quality.
Over time, bores can accumulate silt, sand, iron bacteria, and mineral build-up, leading to poor water flow or discolouration. Our professional bore cleaning service helps restore full capacity and water clarity.
Service includes:
-
Chemical treatment (if required)
-
Iron bacteria removal
-
Post-cleaning flow rate testing
2
Bore Repairs
Fast, reliable repairs to get you back up and running.
From collapsed casings to pump issues, we diagnose and repair all types of bore problems using quality parts and proven methods.
Common repairs include:
-
Cracked or corroded casing
-
Pump or motor failure
-
Leaking or blocked pipework
-
Electrical troubleshooting
3
Bore Redevelopment
Bring life back to low-performing or older bores.
If your bore isn’t producing as it should, redevelopment can help avoid the cost of drilling a new one. We use advanced techniques to improve performance, water yield, and lifespan.
Redevelopment may involve:
-
Downhole camera inspections
-
Airlifting or surge block cleaning
-
Reconditioning gravel pack
-
Upgrading pump equipment
4
Bore Re-lining
Extend the life of damaged or deteriorating bores.
If your bore casing is cracked, corroded, or collapsing, bore re-lining is a cost-effective solution. We install a new internal liner to seal off damaged sections, improve structural integrity, and restore safe, clean water flow.
Benefits of bore re-lining:
-
Avoids the cost of drilling a new bore
-
Seals off contaminated or collapsed zones
-
Suitable for domestic, rural, and commercial bores
-
Quick turnaround with minimal disruption

Meet the Management Team
Mick Doble

For over 25 years, David has been a world leader in water bore solutions, with a specialty in treating and preventing iron oxide fouling. His expertise in water bore rehabilitation chemicals and filtration solutions is trusted both locally and internationally.
Kevin Wintergreene
Founder – Waterbore Redevelopers
With a hands-on start in bore drilling, Kevin has an unmatched understanding of bore construction and the biological challenges they face, such as bacterial and algal growth. Kevin developed many of the industry best practices still in use today and holds a Class 2 Mud Rotary and Cable Tool Drilling Licence. He continues to provide technical support and training to ensure our team delivers superior outcomes.
Jennifer Doble
Finance Co-ordinator
Jennifer worked in the mining industry in her early working years and developed an understanding of what is required to be successful in the mining industry, Jennifer then moved into finance and payroll with a commitment to detail that has given her the opportunity to work in roles in many large commercial and not-for-profit organisations.
